Why am I not surprised?
BTW, how awesome was it to see the President take questions that were not pre-approved/scripted from Americans today.
Now that is change...
and he is going to do it again tomorrow in FL.
Remember my comments this morning about "all getting along"? Frak it... never mind... the Repubs have self-destructed past the point of my caring. !@#$%^&*()! crooks.
Reading the TPM that the sister's operation was called Brown Sugar reminded me of the American Express ad where the Germans opt out of a business deal when the American businessman attempts to pay for the meal with a credit card that had Spider Man on it. The Germans walked away, we'll have to wait and see if Steele should have done the same.
Good Lord! Michael Steele is the whitest politician in the state of Maryland. And when he ran his unsuccessful campaign for governor his sister, a physician, ran a "I'm a victim" ad about some illness she had. Boo hoo. At least she could afford health insurance.
Any Mouse....watched the townhall meeting from Indiana...........
I'm still blown away by a prez who can stand erect and speak flawless english.......
s'wonderful, de--lish, delightful.........
Then saw Michelle give speech from Dept. of Interior....what class, stunning in a black suit
with a pink shawl.....what a change from Laura in her K-Mart short jackets pantsuits
showing her big ass to the world.....Michelle is the new Jackie.
Speaking of Laura....I was looking for a kitchen tool this morn and came across my
turkey baster............... :> )
I mentioned this the other night and still can't believe my eyes. Brown Sugar Inc., could you make it worse? And a ex-Mrs. Mike Tyson? Except for whore services, what else would you outsource to a woman dumb enough to marry Mike Tyson?
Face it, Steel is a crook and that's why the Republicans are willing to ignore his skin color. He's no Uncle Tom, he's Uncle Tom Soprano. Like I've said over and over, America is in dire need of 1 honest man. Well....one more other than Barack Obama. Me thinks the Republicans are Whigging out.
I agree with you and Any Mouse, jazzy. Every time I hear our new Prez speak or see an interview with him I am floored by, well, how much can change so quickly...
But don't worry, Darth is out spreading the fear...
Anybody remember the blaxploitation films of the early 1970s? "Brown Sugar, Inc." sounds like a film I saw at a drive-in back then... or maybe it was a skit in "Kentucky Fried Movie". About a black woman beating up pimps and dopers, while her "ample assets" were distracting the bad guys.

A paper published by a think tank last month warned that Sen. Blanche Lincoln's ascendancy to the Agriculture Committee chairmanship was a bad omen for passage of climate-change legislation in 2010 due to her close ties to agricultural producers and processors seen as major contributors of greenhouse gases.

Dracula can't stop biting necks and Ed Bethune can't stop debasing Arkansas politics. Persistence is but one of the traits they share.
