A Louisiana legislator has filed a bill calling for a state sales tax holiday one weekend a year on firearm purchases to commemorate the Second Amendment.

Thank goodness for Mississippi and Louisiana! Their oddities sort of out shine Arkansas' so we don't stand out as badly.

Boozeman... can't read and comprehend his Bible, but expects the GOP to send a naysaying talking points fax from Satan any minute now.

Sorry Libertus - EVERYTHING that has something to do with glamorizing guns and making them more available/enticing is NOT related to the "right" to bear arms. But I'll give you credit for not varying from wingnut talking points... TAX CUTS for gun buyers: priceless!
Society/humanity would be better off giving out free condoms to commemorate Roe v Wade!

Could you give a tax break to gun purchases while quadrupling the tax on ammo?
The second amendment doesn't say anything about LOADED arms.
