State housing market -- ugh

The February report on home sales in Arkansas shows whopping declines year to year in number of sales, sale prices and average prices.

Cooper Homes, which about 10-15 years ago was the state's largest homebuilder, quietly shut their doors last week and laid everybody off. A sign of the times, I'm afraid.

Where do we send our thank you cards besides, Huckabee, AR legi, Blanche, Mark, Ross Berry, Snyder, Boozeman payday lenders and the banksters?

I know folks who are building barns instead of houses now. Hay loft with a view... it's the new black!
