Flown on
The Obama administration guy who authorized the April 27 Air Force flyover over the Statue of Liberty has turned in his resignation, the New York Times reports.
Louis Caldera, who served as the secretary of the Army in the Clinton administration, apologized for the “distraction” that approving the flyover caused. He said in a brief letter to President Obama on Friday that it “has made it impossible for me to effectively lead the White House Military Office.”
I'd call that a delayed departure.

Just think. Had this happened under Boy Emperor, Caldera would have been promoted.

Caldera would have got the Presidential Medal of Freedom if he had been a Bushie. OK....the guy FK'ed up and scared a bunch of Yankees.....who have every right to be scared of jumbo aircraft being chased by fighter jets just above the buildings of Manhattan. He's gone and now we can get back to the serious stuff. Accountability......nice to see ya again, where ya been?
