Wonderful, Coffee...them waz the days....thanx.
Nanc, you told me something I should have known, there is a psych unit in Malvern and the
man is there....can't imagine such a thing in little, sleepy Malvern, which I thot I knew pretty
well, in fact son-in-law, Big Bubba, has worked for Acme brick for years.
Good to know such things,,,,not as far as Benton for Frenchie to have to drive me when the
world drives me completely batshit crazy.

I dunno Jazzy. I watched FAUX News last nite..first time in a long time. It would help if one were
batshit crazy, low or no curiosity, and low intelligence to watch them. Or, maybe as DBI has indicated, be over 75 and on heavy meds. Just my average intelligence
was enough to make me wonder how friggin crazy has humankind become? Those fuckers are truly beyond batshit crazy! Paranoia strikes deep.
If FAUX NEWs is the face of our opposition
party, a major party in a major nation, I tell you the entire world is close to melt-down.
Back in early 60s there was a Rod Sterling episode wherein a sane, normal fellow, a businessman, was plopped into an environment of nutso cases. Of course he became the odd ball, the nutcase.

WTF........I have to sign in everytime for blog, mail.........
eLwood,,,,2 Rod Sterling's shows remain in my memory..........
1. A man loved books and reading, his wife bitched all time about his nose in books,,,,end of
world...he is only human left alive on earth...in a huge library, with his shattered eyeglasses
unable to read one word.
2. A woman tells her husband she was raped...they are driving down the street and wife
points to a man and says, *thats him, thats him,* hubby jumps out and shoots man dead,,,,,,,,,
gets back in car and continues to drive....wife sees another man on sidewalk and says,
*thats him, thats him.*

ManyHats Speaks, a Fayetteville blog site, offers an in depth look at the origins of Swine Flu.
Btw, BHO has now been undulated with requests to remove "swine" from swine flu. See Daily
Show (April 30 for a hit).
This the beginning of ManyHats post on Swine Flu-
"The Swine Flu: A Byeproduct of NAFTA?"
On January 1, 1994 the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) took affect. The agreement has been supported by every U.S. President since George H. W. Bush; this, even though the agreement was not implemented until near the end of the first term of the Clinton administration. During his campaign, President Obama spoke about making some changes to the agreement, but as president, has not made any such proposals.
Upon the implementation of NAFTA, many U.S.-based companies flocked to Mexico in order to flout U.S. environmental regulations, worker-safety rules and minimum-wage standards. As a result of these businesses going south, both American and Mexican workers were deeply hurt. In the United States, decent-paying jobs were lost and blue-collar workers found themselves being forced to compete in the so-called "race to the bottom." Mexicans saw the rise of the so-called maquiladoras - sweatshops that exploited the work force by paying slave wages, virtually eliminating worker-safety concerns, and exploited the land and its people through reckless anti-environmental practices.
Many of the companies that created the maquiladoras set up shop along the border regions, but many moved much farther south as well. One such business was a Virginia-based company called Smithfield Farms; this, according to an April 29 article written by Julio Hernándes for La Jornado, one of Mexico's leading daily newspapers.
In his article Hernándes points out that in 1985, Smithfield Farms was found to be in violation of the Clean Water Act at its pig processing facilities in Smithfield, Virginia. The accusation was that they had been dumping vast amounts of hog waste into the Pagan River, which is a tributary that eventually finds its way into the Chesapeake Bay. At that time the company was fined $1,285,000.00. Then, in 1996 one of the company's CEO's was ordered by a Federal Judge to pay $12.6 million and to complete an eighteen month prison sentence.

Great clip, coffee drinker! And being a coffee addict myself, your handle brings to the fore some special lassies who worked at a long-gone, favorite late night hangout here in the Rock. So, here's to Stella and Gertie and Lila Jean (wherever you are) for all the TLC you provided a young fella at the Marion Hotel Coffee Shop all those years ago. (Stella, I never knew . on blue.)

Where are all the comments about Justice David Souter resigning, who President Obama will appoint, and whether the nomination will have the 60 Democratic Senators when the Advice and Consent is rendered?
P.S. Max, enjoy your meats on a stick, I'm going to lay-in this years supply of Mayhaw jelly. Nothing better in the morning on biscuits or toast. If you've never had this southern wetland treat, you're still just an underpriviledged carpetbagger.

Doc--Souter comments are elsewhere on the blog on a threads posted Thurs night & early Friday. And it wasn't Max headed for meat on the stick. I believe he is out of the country.
Loved the song Durango. Another commercial that used a good song is the Toyota Sequoia commercial that was out last year. Commercial at the clicky.
Song is "Going Whichever Way the Wind Blows" by Pete Droge. Full song when you go to the singer's MySpace page http://www.myspace.com/petedroge

HUgh MANn,
Thankks for passing on that clip, I don't frequent RockCandy. It reminds me of how we used to ride. Now anything that resembles that clip is only after something has gone horribly wrong,
My last trick attempt occured when they were building the Jimerson Creek bridge that is now part of the river trail, The afternath of the attempted trick included dragging my bike with my good arm, looking through my good eye up the creek to where it comes out in FoxCroft. The good doctor in one of those nice new houses down there donated some towels for clean up and gave me a lift the rest of the way to my house. That was AMA, against medical advice, he strongly suggested an ER trip.
All lasting effects seem to have disappeared except landing on my head still causes difficulty typing and now I vote Liberal.

That guy is amazing, Citizen. If you rode anything remotely like him, my hat's off to you! I could coast with no hands, and pop a wheelie for about 10 feet...that was about 35 years ago...but no tricks beyond that. (At least you vote the right way, now!)

Thanks, NVR. Just goes to show when you lay off to pack for a move you lose what's going on!
My last trick was riding with toe clips and getting out of them to stop at a stop sign without falling over. That and crossing railroad tracks without trapping the wheel between the rail and the roadway. Those racing bikes were light, but dangerous.
