Blanche may not be turned around but Arkansas can be. If that happens who will represent the
Democratic wing of the Democratic Party? Who was that up in Fayetteville Tues, asking questions, answering questions and buying lunch for interested persons. The restaurant was packed.

.

Got a push-poll call last night obviously pushing the Green Party candidate. Earlier in the questioning they also mentioned Independent candidate Joyce Eliot. Hell, I'd vote for either one of those women if they would run as democrats against Blanche in the primary, but sure not going to help elect a republican in the fall...will hold my nose and vote for DINO Blanche. Dale Bumpers must really be beside himself when he looks at her dismal voting record.

jb. You do know what DINO stands for, don't you?

Democrat In Name Only.

So, why not vote for a person, no matter what their declared party might be... who will actually govern in your own best interests?

Since the AR D party does not do primary challenges.. it is nothing but a protection club or the worst order. And the reason Republicans have such a hard time challenging Dems here, is because of the similarities of the two parties... similarities which are not working for 85 percent of us.

A vote for Blanche is a vote for the powerful who will fund anyone. The rich could care less about party.. they just want results, and AR Dems are serving the rich almost exclusively. When it comes to labor, health care, bankster protection, taxation, and wasted use of troops in needless conflict and defense spending.

The rest of us need to quit playing inside a "purchased" false idea of a two party system.

Don't let them box you in! Don't be afraid of voting for the best candidate.

Hold fast, Senator. Appreciate the way you represent the majority of Arkansans.

I've never been sure why the majority of Arkansans oppose higher wages, but it's
been proven true time and time again. If someone put an amendment on the
ballot requiring every adult to hit themselves in the head with a hammer every
morning, it'd pass easily.

A paper published by a think tank last month warned that Sen. Blanche Lincoln's ascendancy to the Agriculture Committee chairmanship was a bad omen for passage of climate-change legislation in 2010 due to her close ties to agricultural producers and processors seen as major contributors of greenhouse gases. /more/
