Caught Fresh Air on NPR yesterday. Terry interviewed Rod Nordland, the former Baghdad Bureau Chief for Newsweek and current Iraq Correspondent for the NY Times. GREAT stuff on the future of Iraq; clicky for podcast...

40/29 reports that former Razor-baby Q back Matt Jones will not be suspended from NFL.

Keeping fuball safe for dopers.

Another baby pic by request. She decided to dine on her socks while we were partaking of cheeseburgers.

Editorial cartoonist Pat Oliphant portrays ex-VP Cheney's attempt to change our US Constitution. It's right on target.

House refuses to investigate if the CIA lied to Pelosi. More important things to do. What is more important than to find out if the CIA is telling the truth or not? Why did Pelosi vote against the creation of bipartisan congressional panel? Does she have something to hide from? I wonder how long before the spooks start digging into her affairs?

What a cutie-pie, Kat. And that big smile tells us that mama and daddy are doing things right, sock cuisne notwithstanding. . .

She is more beautiful each day Kat, and can see she is well fed, are you sure she is not
sneeking a bite or two of those cheeseburgers???

All you old timers might remember saga of my van that grandson sent to van heaven,,,then I
bought a sports car, that I hated, well, grandson sent that one to sports car heaven few
weeks ago, no one hurt except 2 dead deer in case of the van,,,,well say an amen,,,
as of yesterday I am back in a big roomy Chrysler Town & Country van........ahhhhhhhh how
sweet. The little low slung cars are just not for me, takes 10 mins to get my legs in and out,
my ass feels like its cleaning the pavement, limited visability from small windows................
CAT is happy too, he loves to sleep atop my vans under the carport.

Anybody up for an early reunion at Casa Manana tomorrow night? I'm thinking of deviating from our usual Friday night at Pizza D or the Pump to raising some hell on the deck - with all the requisite cussing, drinking & smoking. I can make some calls to DBI's fan club - now that's a hell-raising crowd.

Of course, I haven't run any of this by WBW. She's been known to put a kibosh on anything out of the ordinary.

Dang, Sister! I was just at Casa Manana last night and having a grand old time on the deck!

Should be great weather for some good dining on the deck!

Paul Faris Brooks,an Army medic and Jonesboro native, was one of three U.S. soldiers killed Thursday in a bombing in Iraq. Another tragedy in an unneeded war.

Sister...so sorry I can't be there. You haven't told me what WBW looks like...and she's out of town a lot...are you sure we're not doing the same woman? Sounds an awful lot like my sweet missus.

Man...what is Cheney up to? At times I think he's terrified he's going to prison. At other times I think he thinks he's going to beat Obama up and take over the White House again. Listen...this man is bat-shit insane....count on that, but after 8 years of secret he's now on TV more than that screaming Oxy-Clean guy.

We've been all worried that Iran might have nukes....we better worry about Dick. You know that son of a bitch will push the red button....you know it!

Jazzy, are you sure your grandson isnt my younger son? He sent FOUR cars to car heaven and then he was afoot for a year. I was honestly worried about his safety. Plus that of everyone else on the road.

Kat, see what you have to anticipate? Although with a girl........I never stripped any transmissions, either, and he's already killed two.

I notice that since he has been paying for his own car he is a much safer driver, although he did wreck a cute little Honda that he was buying himself for $1500. The payments lasted a LOT longer than the car did.

Kat, your baby is precious. does she sleep all night?

I am genuinely sorry to hear of the death of one of our soldiers.

This is from the New York Daily News -- my computer didn't care to let me read the rest of the article, but I liked the first.......

So, Kris Allen won. Good for him. I think he'll make a great Idol and record an album that all the kids in the parking lot at the next John Mayer concert can drink their wine coolers to.

Oh DBI, I suspect you're wise to my transparent ruse. I was slyly trying to lure you to LR so the fan club could finally put a face to the object of their 'hands-off' affection. Oh well, perhaps another time...besides, rain is in the forecast.

You and I should get together to compare notes on Mag and WBW. Could they indeed be the same person living a double life in different parts of the state? WBW's alleged 'work trips' seem to be occurring more frequently of late...hmmmmmm.
