Grocery store purse snatchings

Just saw a couple of police reports on purse snatchings yesterday afternoon. Elderly women -- one 71 and one 81 -- were robbed in Kroger parking lots in Hillcrest and the Heights. One man robbed a woman in the Hillcrest Kroger shortly after 4 p.m. and two men robbed a woman on the Heights Kroger parking lot a little more than 15 minutes later. Police reports indicate there may be surveillance camera film in the first robbery and a license plate was obtained on the getaway car int he second robbery.

Approach with caution! These are obviously very manly men, they were able to overpower two women with a combined strength rating of 152.

Hey wait a minute that wasn't a strength rating, that was a combined age of 152.

They were next seen at the playground taking candy from babies.

I am against the death penalty but in some cases like this it shakes my resolve. Why would these "men" be allowed to live in society?

Damn, Citizen1 . . . they ROBBED the women; they didn't murder them. . . wow.

I dunno, Caroline. If I caught some guy robbing an 81 year old woman I'd be tempted to beat him to death myself. Problem is, I don't think I could get to my tire iron fast enough. An oxygen bottle might do the trick, but the things are damn unwieldy.

Did these robbers care that by knocking someone down that person could be killed in the fall?
