There's said to be a John Edwards sex tape. News comes from former aide Andrew Young, who has a book deal, but .....
Young says that his belief in Edwards ran so deep that he agreed to take the fall for the candidate, inviting the pregnant [Rielle] Hunter to live with him, his wife, Cheri, and their three children. Later, after Hunter delivered the baby, Young and his family moved to a different home in California.
While he was unpacking, Young discovered a videocassette, according to the book pitch. Hunter had been hired by the Edwards campaign to videotape the candidate’s movements, but this one is said to have shown him taking positions that weren’t on his official platform.

What is it with these politicians? They all make jokes about if you want a friend in DC, get a job. Anyone else will stab you in the back. So they are aware.
They all play character assasination for sport but then are in denial that everyone else is playing the same game.
I believe I would toe the line all the more knowing every "trusted" aide is hoarding every possibly incriminating email, text, memo, tweet, and probably recording private conversations to either cover their own ass or looking to do the assasination thing for profit of their own.
I could understand Monica Lewinski being a 20 year old naive and getting set up by Linda Trip but these are grown career politicians.
My grandfather told me that to cheat on your wife was giving control of your life, marriage, and treasure to the wims of someone else that is obviously morally challanged as demonstrated by being willing to help you cheat.
Years later after any "roughpatch" or whatever excuse you justified for infidelity has passed you risk your cheat-mate getting jealous or bitter or finding religion and confessing to your spouse.
Why give total control of your marriage, family, personal wealth, etc to a person that has proved they can not be trusted since they are participating in your cheating?
