Perhaps Gov. Beebe, unlike Marian Berry, declared his cigars when he went through U. S. Customs.

Until the Castro forces are willing to bend over and spread'em for Corporate America to once
again ravish a Caribbean nation not much is going to happen. Unless BHO sends envoys to the
World Bank for a little help.
After all the greatest institutions in America had to have a little hep...what is it...$5 trillion so far?
Surely Corporate America can buy Cuba for much, much less, that is they can buy them using taxpayer sweat.

I hope the Guv understands Congress is empowered with the treaty making powers and those bat hides need to be persuaded before Arkansas starts trying to sell its rice to the latinos.

I hope the Gov enjoyed his boondoggle. I guess government isn't in such bad shape financially if they can afford such frivolity. If the Gov. had done his homework he would have known that Cuba has over one-half of the arable land that is unproductive. Even Castro admits that it is due to their own failed system than it is to Yankee Imperialism. Centralized planned economies just don't work but then again we knew that after the failure of the soviet system in Russia.
