Ensign pulverized
Oh my. It would appear U.S. Sen. John Ensign's parents sent almost $100,000 to his mistress. It would also appear the odious U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn, Ensign's suitemate in D.C., knew about Ensign's cavorting and has been caught in some doubletalk about his own role in the appearance that hush money was passed out. He's now claiming clergy-counselee privilege to avoid talking about it.

Coburn also claims doctor patient privilege. Sen Coburn is an Ob/Gyn. Why would Sen. Ensign need Gynecologist for a doctor???

It does my heart good for a "defender of traditional marriage" to be exposed as a lying, cheating, covering-up, hypocrite. Aaah.

It is so much fun to watch these pompous phonys implode. Doctor privledge indeed - as an Ob-Gyn was he talking to Ms. Hampton's pussy? And Ensign at 51 still has Mommy and Daddy paying off for his errors. What shallow shells of men these Senators are.

Isn't it curious how every Republican is obdurate about the separation of church and state when it benefits a cover-up of misfeasance/malfeasance of themselves or a fellow Republican, but not at any other times.
Of course our resident Coburn's will protest that "priviledged deaconate counciling" does not constitute separation of church and state; or that the "priviledged OB/GYN physician" counseling that Coburn gave Ensign covers it. However, it does makeit interesting. What happens if a Senate candidate must be a "Christian" to be a candidate, then if he is a deacon all his counsel is "priveledged" and not subject to subpoena or testimony in court. Then are elders counselings "privledged?" How about "lay ministers" where does it stop ushers, members of the choir, ssunday school attendees ? ? ?
Really. Inquiring mind would like to know ! ! !

oh my, I wasnt going to say anything about my own longstanding affair with old whatshisname but now I have decided that for a mere $50K i will keep my story to myself. Max can get my mailing address to the proper people for a fine donation to one of his own causes. Even for that much money, not too many women I know would admit to having an affair with that other nitwit, isnt Coburn the cock-fighting senator?
any day now I expect to see that bastion of morality, Barry Switzer, enter OK politics.

Weird...SORRY for the dbl post! Hardball skewered Engsign & Co., including agreement by a VERY straight-forward R "strategist:" Todd Harris said it like it is, no wiggling. Refreshing.

Said Coburn:
I was counseling him as a physician and as an ordained deacon. ... That is privileged communication that I will never reveal to anybody. Not to the Ethics Committee, not to a court of law, not to anybody."
Too bad Demos cannot conjure up a Kenneth Starr for this one. If they did Sen Coburn could sit in a filthy prison cell for a couple of years without being found guilty of anything. He could be paraded around in an orange jump suit in handcuffs.
Why not Demos? Better face exactly what they would be doing to you were the tables turned.

Don't know why people want to hate Mexicans and towelheads when we got a whole Congress full of goddamn liars that deserve our hate. Remember these people that are telling us we don't need no stinking health care have EXACTLY the kind of health care the rest of us need. Lordy.....why do we put up with it?
What in the sam hill do we NOT know about Lincoln or Pryor? Or Berry or Boozman or Ross or the rest? The MSNBC shows are gonna have to go to 4 hours each every night just to keep up with the people in our government who got caught in a lie each day. We looked down our noses for 50 years at those fat old Russians who screwed the Russian population every hour on the hour....and now I see we had no room to be pointing fingers. How stupid are we to put up with this day after day after year after decade?
It's a whole lot easier to just assume they're all crooks, all liars, all whoremongers or foot tappers and then sit back and find the 2 or 3 that might be some semblance of honest. That old cheater John Edwards said it best when he said there are 2 Americas. Looks like everyone above the rank of local dogcatcher has their hand in the till and their penis up where it don't belong. And which of them gets punished?
We got people in jail in Fort Baptist for having overgrown yards for Christ's sake! But Karl Rove keeps having a nice day, Tom DeLay is having a nice day, Vitter, Craig, Scooter, Cheney, Bush, Rummy....even that old destroyer of state hard drives Will You Buy My Fluff Book Mike Huckabee just keeps on getting richer. Put some tall grass in one hand and 350,000 dollars worth of destroyed state equipment in the other and tell me who needs to be sitting their ass in jail!
We have to start NOT giving them a FK'ing inch. My old dead Ma washed my mouth out with Dial soap every time she caught me in a lie. We should at least ask that these failed politicians give back their free health insurance! Punish them by making them have to live just like US. That will straighten a few crooked kinks out of about 535 tails.
I gotta get some health insurance fast.......wonder if Gov. Beebe would like to have a sexual relationship with my wife behind my back? I figure 96 thousand dollars ought to buy at least 6 months of Blue Cross-Blue Shield......don't ya think?
