'Gridiron U,' starring ....

... none other than Houston Dale Nutt. Thanks to the Fayetteville Flyer for news that the former Hog coach, now at Ole Miss, will be the star of a new reality TV show about the coaching life.

Easy on the thumbs, HDN.

Oh no. So now Arkansas will be represented on the national stage by the Duggars, Huckabuck, and Houston Nuts? I'm going to start telling people I'm from Mississippi.

Sweet Lord...what next?

Will Donna Bragg be his co-star?

Don't bolt for Mississippi yet, scrum. HNutt is representing The University of Old Mississippi, not the UA.

I do worry about his history of playing close to the edge as it might work itself out on reality television. The first reality TV family, the Louds, found themselves embarrassed by an affair revealed nationally on PBS, and, of course, Jon and Kate were only pushed off the tabs by Dead Michael.

And the Nutts share a level of literacy and eloquence with Sarah Palin. The Nutts should beware of this invitation to humiliate themselves before the nation and specifically The Magnolia State.

Otherwise, Razorback fans might cautiously prepare to rejoice.
