Look out Mike Ross
FROM E-MAIL
For months I have been traveling across Arkansas's 4th Congressional District and visiting with its citizens. I have visited with people of different political party affiliations and independents. I have met with the citizens of different races and of different social standings including the poor. After great review and thought, I announced, via Twitter, today, the 4th day of July 2009 that I am a candidate for U.S. Congress in the 4th District of Arkansas.
I am from Gillham, Arkansas and grew up dirt poor. I am a blue collar worker and I know how to get my hands dirty to fix a problem. I am an avid outdoorsman and have an outdoor website as well www.marcrossonoutdoors.com I hold a lifetime sportsman permit in Arkansas and am a member of the Arkansas Bow hunters Ass. I am a dedicated husband and father of three. My wife and I have been married 10 years.
If elected Arkansans can depend on me to serve them, I will not sell them out to the highest bidder nor will I represent California or Nevada, a change you will like. You will have a real conservative with both American and Christian values and a backbone. Even if elected, you will be able to contact me and I will get back with you. I am:
* Pro-Life * Pro-Second Amendment * Against Bailouts and Wasteful spending * For a Strong National Defense * For a Balanced Budget * I will read and understand all bills or they will be voted NO * Legislation Will Not Be Driven By Fear and Ignorance
If elected I will get I-49 completed which will be jobs in both the construction phase and after with better transportation. Once built it will not be used as voter bait again. I will bring in good paying jobs for Arkansas citizens. Better jobs, better lives will help my fellow citizens and will also help my fellow gun owners. I look forward to meeting with you and working for you. Thank you for your time.
Marc Rosson

"I will read and understand all bills or they will be voted NO"
Sounds like a lot of 'no' votes, judging from the language skills on his website!

What is his explanation for joining the bow hunter's ass? Was he really, really drunk or was it a life-long dream?

I suppose that we all can expect a fund-raising letter request from the Congressman to appear in our mailbox before the end of the coming week, now that this nut has announced his intentions to run against him.
If I didn't know better, I'd think that Ross pays these idiots to run against him.

One would pretty much have to have a swastika patch on their arm to be right of Mike Ross.
When I saw on his web page that he ordered more white phosphorus (a war crime to use it on civilians, which we do) through earmark spending this year, I knew once and for all he was among the poorest excuses for a human being among us. He truly may be the worst legacy Bill Clinton left us Arkansans.

"He had . . . 2 parents."
Well, yeah, I think that's how it usually works.
Then I read the rest of his offering. It set me to bawling. Why, the guy's not even a turkey farmer. Monroe, where are you? Come back. Come back. We need you. Not for the governorship this time. Aim for that 4th district seat.

Louie, you need to come out from behind that tree and help me to defend our kind of folk over here. We can't produce some of them kind that comes out of other sections of our state like they do in eLwood's neck of the woods, like all those militia boys and supremacists and those god-fearing administrators living high at UCA and .....oh well, Ross is one of our boys too. Decisions, decisions.

What kind, Cato?
The kind like you and Louie who know from reading this blog:
Big coal is the dirtiest known way to produce electricity in re air, water and soil pollution.
Not one watt generated will remain in Arkansas... but all costs, and all toxins will.
Power will all be sold at wholesale price levels to Texas.
That it's not so cheap considering the feds (Ross) are constantly funneling truckloads of your tax dollars into the coal industry... And SWEPCO wants to raise your and countless hundreds of thousands of Arkansans rates to pay for it.
That even Texas wouldn't allow such toxic (including radioactive material and mercury among hundreds of other deadly materials) coal burning in their territory for their own electricity.
That Mike Ross champions all of that... intentionally hurting countless people for many generations to come.
Go ahead, defend away.

Aw, Eureka, you are dragging up Texas as the external enemy as the USSR was used during the Cold War/McCarthy era. You can do better. Try. How about......we don't like Texas so let's keep all that old polluting gasoline out of Arkansas and keep it in Texas.......or something of that nature.....

How about you counter the above facts with a reasoned argument (or admit one doesn't exist) instead of evasive maneuvers and calls for Louie the liar and praise for Ross the destroyer?

Watch out for Mike. He is not too swift in the head but he can talk a good talk. In certain 4th district counties, more people voted for him than Mike Beebe. Does that tell you something? Since the get-go, he has been Blanche's boy. She takes care of him and he gets many dollars from her supporters. The conservatives in the 4th district don't need to worry while Mikie's in office. He's for the guns, God, and against gays. The liberals think we need a really good candidate to step forward. Especially one that will keep the state party from saying we have to keep that seat, so let the incumbent run unopposed. Is that progressive thinking?

Mr. Rosson's political career so far:
2 (or is it 3) failed attempts to get elected to the Sevier County Quorum Court
1 failed attempt to get elected to the Arkansas State Legislature
1 failed attempt to get elected Constable of the township in which he lives
An impressive record for someone who is only 32 years old don't you think? I think we can safely say he is about to add 1 failed attempt to get elected to the U.S. Congress. After that the sky is the limit. Maybe he will try for Governor and then finish off his career with a run at the Presidency.
