G-P to idle Fordyce mill; 300 layoffs
Coincidence. I wrote a little while ago about Americans for Prosperity, the special interest group to be fronted by Fox stooge John Stossel when it brings its campaign against universal health care to Little Rock next week.
I mentioned that the Koch family funded Americans for Prosperity.
You know what else the Koch family owns? Georgia-Pacific. G-P announced today that it is laying off the 300-person workforce at its Fordyce plywood mill. They'll have time, I guess, to attend the Americans for Prosperity rally.
Another recent news coincidence: Fordyce is in the biggest lottery-playing county per capita in Arkansas.

It's interesting how--just by the way you write--you make it appear that something sinister has happened. You pen beautiful half-truths, Max.

Max would certainly not let me speak for him but, it seemed more like irony to me.
American's For Prosperity sponsor campaign to kill universal health care while laying off hundreds; makes you wonder about their idea of prosperity, that's all.

When I saw the front page of the DOG this morning and read 300 Laid Off by GP, the first thing I thought about was Prosperity. Then I thought of our book banning friend Laurie and her friends who enjoy the teabagging lifestyle being puppets of this group. Then I thought about that rat bastard Stossel and what a shithead he is.
A requirement for my Master's degree, since I got it on credit, was to watch a John Stossel video about how he would come tow away my car and beat me to my paycheck if I missed a student loan payment. He really hates the non-prosperous.

You might want to ask max about the impact of NAFTA, which bubba clinton supported and signed into law, on all of these layoffs and the movement of jobs offshore.
