Baker Receives Endorsements from Majority of Republican House and Senate Members
Fellow legislators line up behind Sen. Baker for U.S. Senate
Conway, AR – State Senator Gilbert Baker announced today the endorsements from a majority of Republicans in the Arkansas House of Representatives and Senate in his bid for the United States Senate. The list of endorsements is as follows:

“Arkansans will hopefully have the opportunity to get to know Senator Baker the way I, and many other Republicans, have the last several years,” stated Bryan King, current Republican House Minority Leader. “He has raised money, recruited conservative candidates, and stepped up to the plate for the Republican Party of Arkansas when we were facing massive debt and a hefty fine from the FEC. I’ve worked with him in the legislature and know him to be a solid conservative and a true leader within the Republican Party.”
“I’m grateful that so many of my colleagues would support my candidacy for the U.S. Senate,” Sen. Baker said. “There is a lot at stake in this election, and I am thrilled that my fellow legislators would support our campaign at this critical juncture.”
“Gilbert Baker is the strongest Republican candidate that we as Republicans can nominate to challenge Blanche Lincoln,” stated Senator Johnny Key (Mountain Home). “In addition, he has a proven record of cutting taxes and balancing a budget which is greatly needed in Washington DC.”
Baker announced his candidacy on September 1st and raised over $500,000 in the first month of the campaign.
“I want to represent Arkansas in the United States Senate,” stated Baker. “Arkansans deserve a Senator who will never be a swing vote on government-run healthcare, union card check, and cap and trade legislation. I want to be a check and balance on Barack Obama’s extreme agenda. “

Denny Altes, Halloween Hero-Fort Baptist-what a recommendation?
From those who currently live in his state senate district, you don't want Gilbert Baker anywhere, not even here. Vote Green if you need to slap Lincoln but we don't need that wing-nut from Kentucky running the Senate.
