Listen to Dick Morris

Brummett says the reptilian toe-sucker, repugnant though he is, might have some things right about Arkansas politics. Like trouble ahead for Sen. Lincoln and Rep. Snyder on account of President Obama and the misinformation on health care being peddled by people who employ Morris.

Every time I see the Dick Morris on FOX (a PERFECT venue for the slimy goober), all I see is him sucking toes/breathing heavy. Which, obviously, is painful to watch and makes me queasy. And, if he happens to be trashing the Clintons (another 'love' of his) he's almost, well, orgasmic. (Though I hate to sully such a beautiful act by attaching his fat sweaty face to it.) Which, again, is something I'd rather not see.

If he's right about this round of politics, it'll be a rarity. His political predictions tend to be as accurate as Bill Krystol's. (Clearly the two primary criteria for being a FOX political analyst are being a pathological Clinton hater and having a long record of making wrong predictions.)

Dick Morris advised Democrats and Republicans until his toe sucking got in the way. Now only Republicans will have him. He always was a mean little man, he now gets paid a lot to be swarmy. That being said I agree on the problems for Vic Snyder. I am less worried about Blanche. Blanche is a true moderate and she is in tune with Arkansas voters on most issues. She will be in in a fight for her political life, but she will win. Snyder is a true liberal, which is out of step with his district. Pulaski County is becoming more moderate all the time. And Pulaski County is very bad at getting out the vote. Snyder has been sidetracked, rightfully, with his new babies. He is going to have to work harder than ever to win, and that still might not be enough. Democrats need to get busy. Beebe can't carry this ticket all by himself...

Once a toe sucker always a toe sucker----that is why bubba loved him so much. Please, he was acceptable to you when he was a bubba lap dog but now that he has squealed on bubba you don't like him. Yea, just more hypocrisy!

The Iranians are building 10 new nuclear plants to make bombs. I guess this is their reaction to prez. barry's new approach to foreign policy. Gee, I'm really glad that we have such an experienced guy in office who gets such positive results from our enemies while sticking his nose far up their jihadists ass.

Yeah well, If Obama and Dems in both senate and the house were actually producing a bill that wasn't a multi trillion dollar gift to the monsters Morris et al work for. If we as a nation were going to actually care for all ... or move up one notch from last place in terms of infant mortality or life expectancy, or most expensive in the world and rising... we might be able to defend Dems in the WH or Congress substantively.

But we cannot in any honesty.

Most Americans are satisfied with their health care. This was NEVER high on the list of issues that they felt needed to be addressed. However, because the demos have hidden agendas and could care less what the vast majority of Americans are concerned about they march ahead oblivious to reality. 10.2% unemployed would normally not need to command attention from politicans. However, when you could care less what they are concerned about and instead proceed full speed ahead and 'damn the torpedoes' then you need someone to remind you in a harsh way why you are in office to begin with. 2010 will probably be that harsh way to remind these clowns that they are the hired help and need to remember who they are supposed to be representing.

Hmmm... In what universe are you finding numbers to support your assertions, no regard?

The PO consistently polls well all across America.. including right here in Arkansas.

And as for the GOP

http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2009/10/poll-gops-favorability-at-its-worst-in-a-decade.php

A new CNN poll has some really bad news for the Republican Party, with their favorability number reaching its lowest in a decade.

Only 36% of people view the GOP favorably, with an outright majority of 54% viewing them unfavorably. By comparison, the Democratic Party is at 53% favorable to 41% unfavorable -- hardly a good omen for the Republicans if they want to make significant gains in 2010.

The last time the GOP was this bad in CNN's polling was in December 1998, in the heat of the impeachment battles, when they were at 31%-

85% of Americans have expressed satisfaction with their health insurance. Just google it and you will find the numbers in several sources. Where are you getting your support for any other position?

I tell you what since you disregard most polling why don't we just settle for the final poll in November of 2010. I'm satisfied with that in Arkansas as well as the US.

You give no links.. how can someone disregard something which you do not provide? And every poll taken in AR with reasonably phrased questions, which the AR blog has reported on all year has shown favorable numbers for the PO. Every single one.

By your own unsubstantiated claims... adding uninsured with unsatisfied... around a hundred million Americans are uncovered or unhappy or both. Keep cheering to make it worse and more expensive and we all loose... D or R.

Your trollish arguments are never concerned with these matters... neither are any of the critters your party elects throughout the entire nation. Quite the contrary.

"...Blanche is a true moderate and she is in tune with Arkansas voters on most issues. She will be in in a fight for her political life, but she will win. Snyder is a true liberal, which is out of step with his district..."

HA! Blanche is as moderate as...Mark Pryor, Joe Lieberman. Snyder is in step with his district. But, sadly, you're probably right about her winning. Not because she deserves to and not because the majority of Arkansans support her and her corporate/Republican loving votes; but because she has the money and the power of an incumbency.

The Republicans have been very successful at word manipulation. They managed to turn 'liberal' into a dirty word (mostly in the 90s) and they've turned 'moderate' into just another word for Republican lite.

Beau never uses facts, eureka...never has, never will. He just tosses empty right-wing talking points out there and ignores everyone else's facts as he delights in his own delusions of humor.

Saying folks are happy with their current health-care plan doesn't translate to proof (a fact) that they don't want universal health-care--apples and oranges...once again.

Look, you obviously aren't interested in the truth. Pryor and Blanche BOTH know that Arkansans are against the current obama/pelosi health care bill. This is the reason that they both are treading very carefully between the party leadership and the electorate. Reid probably will not survive the election. I have doubts about vic and blanche because they have been burned by association with a left wing democratic congressional leadership that is off to la la land while the electoral just get more steamed by the day. They know that they are being ignored and they are enraged. I wouldn't want to be a democrat in a red state on election day.

Well, when it comes to left wing empty rhetoric you guys need to instruction. I have quoted facts until the cows came home and you just ignore them. You can google Rasmussen and Gallop polls and be overwhelmed with data that directly disagrees with you moonbat ideas. You have about as much in common with Arkansans as they have with the nut cases in San Francisco.

No regards, you are so bright that you are wasting your talent on us mere mortals on the blog. Isn't there a faux blog that needs your massive intelligence to help them achieve world dominance.

DFTT, when you do they just become more obnoxious.

I don't think that the truth needs any level of intellect to be appreciated or pursued. Don't you?

A paper published by a think tank last month warned that Sen. Blanche Lincoln's ascendancy to the Agriculture Committee chairmanship was a bad omen for passage of climate-change legislation in 2010 due to her close ties to agricultural producers and processors seen as major contributors of greenhouse gases. /more/
