Comments
Would this be enough to elevate St. Vincent's from a Level II to a Level I trauma center? As I understand it, one of the main (if not few) differences between the two levels is the hospital's neuroscience capabilities.

I really like st vincents -- but it doesnt make much sense to have two level one trauma centers just down the street from each other, does it?
quite a coup for svi anyway. we are all lucky these doctors are staying in town.

No amount of doctors will help SVI become a Level I Trauma Center (Not that I am sure a rational hospital will want to be one) because the Unversities inserted clauses that require L1TCs to conduct research and have surgery training programs, something typically only associated with university hospitals.
