The party of hate?

The Nation's David Corn asks, "Is the tea party gang turning the GOP into a party of hate?"

When John Boehner, the Republican leader of the House, appeared at the Tea Party rally at the Capitol on Thursday afternoon, it was a dramatic signal: The wing-nuts have taken over the GOP.

Think I'm being harsh? The angry folks at the protest -- which attracted several thousand conservatives -- held up signs with messages of hate: "Get the Red Out of the White House," "Waterboard Congress," "Ken-ya Trust Obama?" One called the president a "Traitor to the U.S. Constitution." Another sign showed pictures of dead bodies at the Dachau concentration camp and compared health care reform to the Holocaust. A different placard depicted Obama as Sambo. Yes, Sambo. Another read, "Obama takes his orders from the Rothchilds" -- a reference to the anti-Semitic conspiracy theory holding that one evil Jewish family has manipulated events around the globe for decades.

Hey Gared-

What about some post about the crazies from:
MoveON
DailyKOS
Huffington Post

They far outweigh our crazies.

Beat me to it, blackberry. The left was ever so much more vitriolic in their tone towards Bush. It really is hypocritical for those on the left to whine about their Annointed One getting politically pilloried. Funny, too, how they talk of tones of hate, when it was Obama's people, in one case at the behest of Obama, that committed acts of violence against the protesters. SEIU thugs ganging up on one guy, Obama supporter biting the finger off a Tea Party protester, old man with colostomy bottle being roughed up by union thugs.

Lets you know exactly where the real hate is.

http://rawstory.com/2009/11/ambassador-cia-people-tortured/

The CIA relied on intelligence based on torture in prisons in Uzbekistan, a place where widespread torture practices include raping suspects with broken bottles and boiling them alive, says a former British ambassador to the central Asian country.

Craig Murray, the rector of the University of Dundee in Scotland and until 2004 the UK's ambassador to Uzbekistan, said the CIA not only relied on confessions gleaned through extreme torture, it sent terror war suspects to Uzbekistan as part of its extraordinary rendition program.

*****"I'm talking of people being raped with broken bottles,"***** he said at a lecture late last month that was re-broadcast by the Real News Network. ****"I'm talking of people having their children tortured in front of them until they sign a confession.***** I'm talking of people being boiled alive.******

That's America under right wing Bush Cheney, Republican controlled congressional leadership.

Their idea of health care for some Americans is to raise costs and care for less people!

What more does one need to know, before using the word hate to describe these cretins?

Hate doesn't begin to describe their evil well enough.

What more does one need to know... before asking if hate is a strong enough word?

"Is the tea party gang turning the GOP into a party of hate?
**************
Where the H*ll has David Corn been for the last thirty years? The Party of Hate was announced in Philadelphia, Mississippi in 1980.

"The left was ever so much more vitriolic in their tone towards Bush."

HA! If THAT comparison doesn't tickle your funny bone you need to get to the ER, quick!! Let's see, O'Bama has done/attempted stuff that the CRAZIES don't like. He's also done/not done stuff WE here don't like. Bush KILLED tens of thousands of people, many of them our servicemen & women, can't speak intelligently on ANY subject and took orders from Darth GFH Cheney. O'Bama is open, Bush - well, not so much...

Steven, please extract your head from your ass and wake up - you might like it!

...OOPS - that would be gfY Cheney....

Thanks for the post, Gerard. Please continue to shine a bright light on the actions of the scum who have co-opted the Republican Party.

Blackberry & Steven, I don't know what planet you two are from. If you think anything said about George W. Bush was worse than the harebrained, crackpot stuff demonstrated yesterday, at the Capitol Building, your values of common sense and civility are sadly lacking.

Also, do you actually believe the messages on the signs.

Blackberry appears to think the Tea Baggers at the demonstration are, in his words, "crazies". Why would you want to identify with anybody you thought was a "crazy"

Steven I'd like to see your sources for the acts you claim were done by Obama supporters. You say violence was committed against protesters "at the behest of Obama". When and where did this happen.

steven don't need no facts. steven attended the Beck-Palin school of factology.

steven don't need no inchurance neihter. steven's gots friends who will volunteer to pay his medical bills.

Boehner was there so it could be said that they a person of color.

"If we take seriously the ideology, arguments and values now emanating from the right-wing of the Republican Party, there is no room in the United States for a democracy in which the obligations of citizenship, compassion and collective security outweigh the demands of what might be called totalizing market-driven society; that is, a society that is utterly deregulated, privatized, commodified and largely controlled by the ultra-rich and a handful of mega corporations. In such a society, there is a shift in power from government to markets and the emergence of a more intensified political economy organized around three principal concerns: deregulated markets, commodification and disposability."

-Market-Driven Hysteria and the Politics of Death

As the Democrats and Republicans diverge to opposite extremes, I'm starting to think we need a Centrist Party for mainstream voters.

Whine! Wha! Ahhh! Whine! Whawwww! You lib turds sound like a bunch of babies. You boys can't take it when your shit is handed right back to ya!
As for the Wing-nuts, Teapartiers, etc., call um what you want, but their voices are being heard.

Fundie Cox, I'm not whining. We're celebrating the election of the FIRST Democrat in over 65 years
in New York's 23rd Congressional district.

So, please send in more Rush-Palin approved candidates.

It turns out that there is an organization called the Centrist Party - http://www.uscentrist.org/

Their website says - "America is 70% Centrist. So why are we letting 15% from the left and 15% from the right control our nation? We need to support Independent and Centrist candidates, or risk losing another election to special interests."

Wow, the best you can do, eL, is my temporary lack of insurance? Maybe I don't like to force people to pay my way on things. I already had my health crisis, and though I am no rich person, I paid my way through, wasn't easy, but it was better than onerous laws that steal from folks.

Larry, as the rgeat man said, "I would take you seriously, but to do so would be an affront to your intelligence." Might want to mind your own rectal/cranial inversion.

"rgeat"

dyslexia kicking in?

Just for you Cato. click it.

The trolls are dining well.

I enjoy smart, subtle trolls. Why can't we get some here instead of this:

So Fonda, if the good Republican Congressmen Boehner and Akin can't even quote the Constitution correctly (Boehner used the Declaration of Independence) or recite the pledge correctly, what kind of "patriotic" Americans are they? Boehner's boner at the click and cut and paste this one for Akin's screw-up:

http://crooksandliars.com/john-amato/gop-embarrasses-themselves-hosting-teab

Plus they lie about the attendance total.

Fonda Cox,

I asked you yesterday if you were really fond of cox but after seeing your web site I guess you are

http://www.fondacox.com/index2.html

Good job, LAJ!!!!

I think this whole teabagger/protest shit has backfired on the Republicans. Most of the people I know are educated, reasonable, tax-paying citizens, and they are horrified to see the obvious attacks on Anything-Obama. Even the "sort of" Repulicans that I still associate with are not happy with these "Sambo" and other signs carried by these idiots.
These idiots and their defenders are actually helping the Democrats...good on us!!!

I always find it humorous when leftist accuse others of hate. Seems like I remember Bush being called 'hitler', Sarah Palin was accused of having her daughter's baby, etc. The venom that pours out of this Blog and the dailykos is unimaginable. Yet, the pot loves to call the kettle black. Please spare the rest of us your supreme hypocrisy. If you disagree with the standard leftist line you are labeled 'stupid, trolls, etc. When you can't find anything of substance to use to refute a conservative challenge you resort to your standard 'throwing grenades' as to the character of the person who dares to challenge your monotone thinking.

Bring substance to your posts and we'll take you seriously. In the meantime, just keep ignoring the real facts and make your own reality. You are what you are, troll.

For hate, go to the site at click.

I don't think you would know what substance was if it stared you in the face. You represent a discredited ideology led by a neophyte who is leading this country into bankruptcy and is to stupid to realize it. My children and my grandchildren will be saddled with onerous debt that they will never be able to get out from under. They will live a hard life with a substantially lower standard of living. All because you were blinded by an ideology that is also bankrupt.

NOt blinded by the bush like you guys were, troll. How do you think we got to this point anyway? Yeah, neophyte? WTF was Bush?

Yeah, Obama came in with a budget surplus, no wars, no tanking economy and less than ten months has put this country in the tank. Yeah, right.

Keep coming with the jokes, sucker.

SOME here attribute perspicacity to multi-syllabic cul-de-sac verbosity, which I respectfully repudiate.

Cross-transitional neuronal synapses no more guarantee cohesive ideological cranial handshakes than do anxiety-based flatulent gastrointestinal fulminations permeating conversational blogging intercourse.

In a word, Razorbabies, we're talking brain-farting trolls who mistake syllable-count for smarts.

As always, I mean that in a nice way.

Your obsession with obama has blinded you to his obvious incompetency. He doesn't know what he is doing and is blinded, as you are, by ideology. We all will feel the consequences. I wish that I could just sit back and wait for those obvious consequences to occur and say 'I told you so' but I will be impacted as much as you will. He and the Congress most likely will bankrupt the nation a situation that we will probably not recover.

The Ft. Hood terrorist attack is just another example of how the obama administration embraces PC to the detriment of this nation. Already the spin has started. 'This has nothing to do with Islam. It is just an isolated event of a soldier who went berserk'. Yet the same element always exists---Islam.

A disgruntled Muslim soldier murdered his officers way back in 2003, in Kuwait, on the eve of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Recently? An American mullah shoots it out with the feds in Detroit. A Muslim fanatic attacks an Arkansas recruiting station. A Muslim media owner, after playing the peace card, beheads his wife. A Muslim father runs over his daughter because she's becoming too Westernized.

Muslim terrorist wannabes are busted again and again. And we're assured that "Islam's a religion of peace.

Oh, gee, Beau, around here black people are killing black people. Well, except in the cases where white people are killing white people, or black people. Or black people are killing white people. Then there's the male and female perps and victims. So it's all because of black people, er, white people, er, male, er, female . . .
Well, you know. We gotta DO SOMETHING about all back people, white people, male people, female people . . .
Oh, crap, I forgot about Hispanic people, Chinese people, Marshall Islander people . . . Whew, there's a bunch more. Gonna have to update my list. And all of 'em got male and female.
And Baptist people. Jewish people. And Catholic people, as Norma reminded us somewhere . . .
Really gonna have to sharpen my fingers and get to work, huh?
Heck, I think I'm getting disgruntled.

There was a lot of rhetoric on the left (if you can really call America's liberal a left--anywhere else, they'd be seen as moderate to conservative) that was indeed pretty heated and harsh aimed at the Bush administration. The difference is that we mostly waited a couple of years till Bush did something mindbendingly awful by attacking Iraq to whip it out. The American right started in on it during the election, before Obama ever took office, and has kept it up ever since.

I stopped calling Bush stupid after he cleaned our clocks in the 2002 election. Calling a bad man stupid is giving him a break he doesn't deserve. Though he will be remembered with Buchanan and Hayes as among the worst presidents ever, it won't be for lack of political skill. He turned out to be a very effective politician, capable of increasing his party's congressional advantage in a mid-term election and lying the public into a 2004 confirmation of his disastrous decision to invade Iraq.

Don't misunderestimate your opponents if you want to win. If you just want to bloviate, then go right ahead and screech.

No, we are going to leave the 'worst president' designation to barack hussein obama.

I'm sorry, doigotta, but you simply are not allowed to cast dispersions on any group except, of course, white males. It just isn't allowed any more. Please refrain from making any negative statements about any group except the white males. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Have a nice politically correct day.

You know, when see hypocrisy, I call it out, with the facts of it, and the full honesty of it for all to see. Beyond certain things that are observable, I don't make the assumption.

Honest observation of mine, you love to call folks tea baggers and trolls for merely having the temerity of not agreeing with you. If someone defends child rape, I can call it our for the honest observation that it is. Beyond that, I will make no other guessess about the kind of person that does defend child rape. I won't be saying they have certain issues, that they are evil, merely banal.

I noticed how those that do not like Laurie Masteron call her all sorts of vlle things, wish her the flu, wish her dead, say nasty things about her husband and marriage. All of which are lies, and she has been here to refute them. Had someone try two or three times to guess what I am, and not getting a single guess right. Instead of refuting points, being thoughtful, there is this cacophony of bile and hate.

So, those of us here in the middle, making our observations, are supposed to take some folks with bile on their lips seriously when they whine about real and supposed hate with regard to Obama?

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the stupid it burns. And everybody knows you can teach the stupid.

And wronggard, you really miss it when you say I'm obsessed with Obama. Never been obsessed with a politician or anybody. Just sick of your type forgetting what brought us to this point and what it will take to get us out.

Keep being the party of no and keep dropping your little speaking points. As I said before, you and steve are what you are, trolls. Now go look up the urban definition since it has nothing to do with what you look like or where you live. Trolls you are and troll you will be.

And we will leave history to decide who was the worst. Not you, lackey.

LAJ Hillcrest,

I am Fonda Cox, and I especially liked your daddy's. Of course tell your momma not to worry, we just had Bill Clinton fun, and as you know that depends on how you define certain words. Now as for you liberal turds... Obama is gone in 4. Mike Beebe want even say if he voted for him for President. He was asked last week, and he just smiled and changed the subject. Your liberal turd friends running for office will be running from Obama come next election. Can you say Virginia and New Jersey.

troll is a term you use on anyone who doesn't agree with you and when you have no viable counter argument. Call them names and denigrate them. This is pure saul alinsky.

Calm you self!
Is that the best you can do. Your daddy did always like a little strange coming from a little strange. But I guess your links prove that about your daddy. Shucks! And yes a man can be a slut, your daddy was certainly a slut.

Love Ya
Fonda

Nailed it one, Beau. Being called a troll by the likes of Roger, is like being called UnterMencsh by Goebbels. And further roves my point at where the REAL hatred lies. They cannot answer for their hate, but will wildly accuse others of hate.

The irony of their hypocrisy is illuminating.

"One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument"

Gee, now you're calling me a Nazi, steve?

Show me the hate that I accuse you of, please. Watched any of the videos from the teabaggers' party lately?

Now, I'm off to more important things. Like swatting flies.

roger, not only have I watched the videos, I have been to the partys. That is how I know all the calls of racism are merely desperate lies.

Did I call you a Nazi? Nope, not there. I merely made the observation your behavior closely REFLECTS as one. If I were to call you a Nazi, I would be partaking in the favorite pastime of some of the regulars here, making wild assertions about someone.
