USA Today discovers Arkansas

Eats in Arkansas and Missouri are featured today in USA Today, with tips of the hat to Craig's in DeValls Bluf, the Fish House in Conway and Doe's in Little Rock.

I'll have to make a trip to the BBQ place in Greenbrier, but Fish House? Really? i've never heard anyone rave that much about it, but then, since I don't eat fish, it's not normally part of conversation.

Bruised and battered

On the evening of July 20, a concerned aunt drove her 26-month-old nephew to a Department of Human Services office in Little Rock to show caseworkers the bruises on his buttocks and back.
