feelin froggy?

Has anyone ever had better frog legs than at The Faded Rose? The picture above was taken by yours truly at the Rebsamen Park Road location last weekend.
Lemony, zesty, and the paramount of the friedoliscous arts in my opinion. Lightly breaded and deep fried in olive oil, butter, garlic, white wine & herbs. $6.50. I always get an order for an appetizer.
The question is not rhetorical. If you've had better frog legs- I wanna know about it. And please give directions.
PS FROM MAX: I just read a co-operative extension service news release that's bad news for frog lovers (and all of us, given general environmental implications). A mysterious virus is decimating the world's frog population, both in the wild and commercial crops.

I've gotta try those some time.
My "problem" is I can't get past the gumbo. The stuff is sublime. I wish I could get my roux that dark but I always lose my nerve at the "dark penny" hue. Faded Rose is a jewel.

honestly boy the only ones better were the ones my grandmother used to make. a game warden friend used to bring her the legs regularly in the summer and we would dine so finely on them. i grew to love them. she did not have fancy sauces but they were great to me and it got me over my squemishness of ordering strange foods. as a kid you think it is neat to eat frogs. i get them anywhere i see them and i agree that the rose probably has the best around. they are always tender till they fall apart and the butter garlic sauce is wonderful.

Not all froglegs need to be fried.
After a visit to La Regional last week, we grilled frog legs after marinating them in a mango-chipolte sauce, and served them with red rice.
