Bubba Proof

An Arkansas dry rub claims to be "Bubba Proof"-

Lets see if its Belly Boy proof.

We decided to grill some ribs.  I know, I know, I should have slow smoked them but I was lazy.  We threw in some soaked hickory for effect.

I had put the dry rub in about 2 or 3 hours before.

I gotta say it turned out pretty well for a product named "Hillbilly Willies".   I expected a novelty product, but the rub gave it a little  zing that I liked.  Anybody had this before?   As always, homemade dry rub recipes are encouraged, so please tell us yours.

I don't get "Bubba Proof". Does that mean it's too spicy for Bubba? That it's so easy to use that even Bubba couldn't screw it up?

How were the ribs, BB?

Belly Boy: I don't get it either. But the ribs were good.

I have to quibble with the appellation "Ozark Spice Co.". Alexander is on the wrong side of the Arkansas River to claim to be in the Ozarks. It's barely even in the Ouachitas. And that picture with the snow-capped peaks in the background--what's up with that? It reminds me of the view of Oklahoma from Fort Smith as depicted in the film of "True Grit". Looked more like the Colorado Rockies.
