Slim Pickins...

World Fest this year had a good turnout, but the food, well, lets just say maybe next year.

Nothing says multi-culturalism like a burger.

ooh- Greek food!

I'm not kidding- this is the menu for the greek food place-

But Samantha 2 showed up and gawd how I love their food-

I defy you to find me a better taco in Little Rock.

Five bucks for three awesome beef soft tacos.  So- all in all, it wasn't too bad- but I kinda expected more at a "world fest".  Its hard to get upset when you get a belly full of Samanthas tacos though.

Lots of good stuff going on down there at McArthur Park- check it out if you've got time.

The "actual" menu on the Greek food wagon is hilarious.

I went looking for one of those taco trucks the other day and, low and behold, I ran across this very Samantha 2 truck. I told the guys at the window I wanted something good. A few minutes later I got some kind of beef/cheese/onion/pepper concoction folded up into a gigantic serape of a tortilla, and a little cup of green sauce. All that and a bag of chips (regular Lays--love 'em but kind of wierd with this taco) all for $4.

I'll go looking for Samantha 2 again someday soon.

lo and behold ...

Imagine my embarrassment (before all you wordies) to include a superfluous w. Of all the letters ....

Beef? Sacrilege! !Viven Las Carnitas!

Anyone remember Famoso Gomez, who had a taco truck on Geyer Springs about 8-9 years ago? Mmmm. Whatever happend to Gomez?
