And the winner is ....

Joel DiPippa gets $50 and our thanx for his topping-level shot of the wondrous surface of a Sweep the Floor Pizza from Iriana's. We had a number of good entries, but this one really drew me in and Joel had a little fun with the camera angle.

We'll continue our food photo contest on a roughly monthly basis, but I want to be sure I have a representative sample -- say at least 10 shots -- to choose from for each award. So keep the photos coming, to max@arktimes.com
