New Mexico Chiquito

There’s a new Mexico Chiquito. Open since early last week, the new locale on 13924 Cantrell includes a dining room and a drive-thru window. 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. 217-0700.

I visited the new Mexico Chiquito a little while ago, and I found that it was a little overpriced for the quality, taste, and amount of what you get. You can just go about a half-mile down the road to Senor Tequlias and get much better food for cheaper prices. Try $8.75 for a combination fajitas! Thats a couple dollars less than Mexico Chiquto's fajitas, and SO much better. Not to mention that at Mexico Chiquito you are packed in like sardines, each chairback touching the other one. And the service at Senor Tequlias is always awesome. They can get you what you need in a short amount of time. At Mexico Chiquito the service is well, a little lacking. You see the server when you order, and maybe when you get your food and check. You have to flag down somebody to get a drink refill.
