A serious sandwich
Kat Robinson's Tie Dye Travels drops in on a restaurant that has stood the test of time -- Jimmy's Serious Sandwiches. She counsels that it's good to have a companion along to let you know if the prize-winning Garden sandwich leaves you with spinach between the teeth.

That's one of my favorite sandwiches in Little Rock.

Yum, sounds delicious. As always, Kat has brought us more good tidings of the scrumptious fare to be found near and far.
I, for one, appreciate this service regardless of the how some might count the calories.
Everything is good in moderation.

Jimmy's is always one of those places on my "list to visit", but I've never been there. A sandwich, no matter how "serious" just isn't what I want for dinner and I'm rarely in LR for lunch.

After reading your review, I had to have one of these for lunch today. This was without a doubt, the best sandwich I've ever had!

Seriously--you can't go wrong at Jimmy's. If EY wants to eat there though, it'll have to be at lunch because tyey aren't open at dinner time. I don't work anywhere near Jimmy's now like I did for nearly 10 years, so I miss the great lunches I've had there over the years. Reading Kat's posting inspires me to plan a trip that way soon.

Yes, I discovered that AFTER I posted. Too bad that the next time I'll be in LR anywhere near lunch will be in a couple of weeks when I get braces* put on. I have a feeling a sandwich won't be what I'm after that day.
*yes, I'm over 13. A few times that. But braces it is to fix the TMJD.

You know, they also have soups... and that twice baked potatoes is gumming-worthy.
