Heading to Hot Springs for racing season? If you're in the mood for a good, decently priced breakfast or brunch, check out The Pancake Shop... simple menu, simple prices, and right across the street from the Arlington Hotel. More on the Tie Dye Travels blog site. If you go, check out the walls -- a real smorgasboard of local celebrities, children's TV superstars, and horse racing teams. I eat here every time I have a conference in Hot Springs. I like their omelets as well as their pancakes.

Stopped by this weekend. Absolutely everything (saving the screaming kid in the corner) was great.
The ham and cheese omelet has amazing. I also tried the blueberry pancake and wasn't disapointed. Sadly, however, I had to wait til I got to oaklawn for the bloody mary!
