Tasty, Pricey Pseudo Mexican.

Cantina Laredo Eat Arkansas.JPG

Had lunch at Cantina Laredo after all this time.  And I have to say, the food was good.  But it was also a bit out of the household budget.  Still, decent for a chain and maybe fourth on my choice of area Mexican-type restaurants.  If you'd like, read more at Tie Dye Travels -- including the shrimp-and-cheese stuffed, carne asada wrapped poblano pepper pictured above.

Comments

The picture looks like it was taken of food that has been scraped into the garbage after a meal. Not very appetizing!

But I agree completely about Cantina Laredo. The food is pretty tasty, but overpriced. If you find something particularly cheap on the menu (say, while at lunch) then it is worth going, but outside of that the taste-to-cost ratio is way out of proportion.

I do appreciate their semi-spicy non-white cheese dip though.
