Spain picks Volver

Spain has chosen Volver, Pedro Almodovar's latest film as its entry into the Oscar foreign film contest.  It's safe to assume that Volver will be nominated and will, most likely, win this award.  Pan's Labyrinth will represent Mexico and probably stands the best chance of knocking Volver out of the top spot.

I still think this prize is Volver's to lose and I think we'll see it receive noms for writing, acting and perhaps even Best Picture.
