Buzzmeter

the latest Buzzmeter is out today.  Thanks to "Armchair Critic" for pointing out the flaws in their methodology.  I agree and I'm not sure how the thing is calculated.  Still, you get too see each critic's rankings, which is helpful.  Yet, their composite list is totally whack.

Best Actor

Not much changes this week.  DiCaprio is down a spot and Will Smith is up a spot, but the top 5 remains the same.

Best Actress

Big changes here.  Cate Blanchett climbs to No. 3 for The Good German and Penelope Cruz enters the list at No. 4 for Volver.  Kate Winslet falls to No. 5.  Judi Dench is on every list but one, yet is left out of the Top 5?  That doesn't make any sense.

Best Picture

Babel take over the top spot and The Queen falls to No. 2.  Dreamgirls remains steady at No.3 while Flags of Our Fathers (which I believe is in a free fall) is at No. 4.  Little Miss Sunshine enters at No. 5!  No room for The Departed despite being on 3 of the 5 lists.

Ok, now I'm annoyed.  I'm going to recalibrate this in another post.  These folks can't add, it seems.
