Can 'Dreamgirls' win?

Ask Tom O'Neil of the L.A. Times.  My response: No.  It's not as good as the other frontrunners: "The Departed" or "The Queen."  And it's lagging behind "Letters from Iwo Jima" in critical acclaim.  Nevertheless, his analysis is worth reading more because it's rather UNbiased (a past problem for the LA Times when it comes to this film and for O'Neil who just ga-ga for Eastwood's "Flags of Our Fathers" as well as "Dreamgirls").
