A sequel to "The Departed" is moving quickly reports Dark Horizons.  Reuters is reporting that Al Pacino is being courted to star in the film opposite Robert DeNiro.  The story revolves around the corruption of politics this time around as Wahlberg goes undercover to bring down a ruthless senator (Robert DeNiro). Pacino is tipped to play Wahlberg's new boss - a force veteran who may not be as clean as he appears. William Monahan, the Oscar-winning writer from "The Departed" is penning the script and as this reports suggests, it could be Scorsese's next project.
