I am quite disappointed that "Sunshine," the lates film from Danny Boyle ("Trainspotting" "28 Days Later") didn't make it into theaters in Little Rock.  The film released wide, but as usual, the morons who run the Rave, Breckridge and Riverdale opted to put "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" (a classic piece of dogshit) up on the screen, not to mention holding over "License to Wed," the pitifully lame Mandy Moore flick.  "Evan Almighty" is still out there despite being one of the year's dumbest films.  But the managers of the Rave, wherever they live, have committed thegreatest offense of them all.  They're showing "Captivity" on screen at 10:05.  Nice.  That movie is so f***ing bad that critics across the board panned it.  These same idiots have "Ocean's Thirteen" and "Pirates 3" showing on one screen each also at 10:05 and 12:05, respectively.

All of this instead of getting "Sunshine," which Manohla Dargis of The New York Times described as a "spooky and spookily beautiful science-fiction thriller."  She also writes, "Like a lot of science fiction, “Sunshine” owes as much of a debt to the past as to the speculative future, including some of the usual suspects, notably Stanley Kubrick’s classic head-scratcher, “2001: A Space Odyssey,” with flashy bits and pieces borrowed from “Alien” and “Blade Runner,” Ridley Scott’s back-to-back masterworks."

And if that isn't enough to entice you, check out this shot.  It certainly will.
