I was saddened to hear (thanks to Tricia) about the death of Ulrich Muhe, 54, as a result of stomach cancer.  Muhe starred in the extraordinary German film "The Lives of Others."  His performance was startling and brilliant.

Comments

This actor and the film "The Lives of Others" probably roll right over the head of most Arkansans, but I promise you if you enjoy film, this is one movie you must see. I saw it had returned to Little Rock at the dollar theater on McCain (ok, that's NLR). It will be the best dollar you've spent at the movies.
It was easily as good as any movie last year. And Muhe's performance is fabulous, one of many terrific performances.
