I've been interested in Julie Taymor's "Across the Universe," a film musical about coming of age in the Vietnam era.  The trailer is delicious, and it stars Evan Rachel Wood, one of the best young female actors working in the business today.   Taymor last directed "Frida" with Salma Hayek (she's also the mastermind behind the Broadway production of "The Lion King").  The film will be a part of the Gala presentations at this year's Toronto International Film Festival.
