The Reeler has the line-up for the New York Film Festival.  Wes Anderson's "The Darjeeling Limited" opens the festival on September 28th presented by the Film Society at Lincoln Center.  Other notable films include, "No Country for Old Men," (dir. Coen Bros.), "Margot at the Wedding," (dir. Noah Baumbach), "I'm Not There," (dir. Todd Haynes), "Before the Devil Knows Your Dead," (dir. Sidney Lumet), "Redacted," (dir. Brian DePalma), "4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days" (dir. Christian Mungiu), "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly," (dir. Julian Schnabel), and "Pranoid Park," (dir. Gus Van Zant).

It came as something of a surprise when the University of Central Arkansas reported in a state Higher Education Department pay survey that President Lu Hardin's benefits included a $57,000 annual expense account financed by the UCA Foundation. /more/
