BSR writes about all things film.

"3:10 to Yuma" lives up to its billing. I caught a screening of the film yesterday morning and I found it to be a wonderful retreat in the great westerns of the past. Russell Crowe, Christian Bale and Peter Fonda are excellent. A.O. Scott of The New York Times writes, "The action sequences in “3:10 to Yuma” are effective and coherent, but it is ultimately the actors who carry the movie. The destination may be as familiar as the journey, but there are still some sights worth seeing along the way."
