So what do I think of this 56-year-old fat, famous, hairy, rich, name-dropping blow-hard with his ten bedroom estate in Hamptons (and another like it in Spain) and a pink skyscraper in the West Village? I think the guy's freaking wonderful. - - Andrew Corsello on Julian Schnabel ("The Diving Bell and the Butterfly") in the December issue of GQ.

It's a cryin' shame that this profile isn't available online. It's a fantastic and in-depth piece that gives the reader a comprehensive understanding of the intensity of this guy.
