PRODUCER'S GUILD AWARD
Goes to "No Country for Old Men." The film has now won the SAG Ensemble, Writer's Guild, Producer's Guild and Critics Choice. I'd say it's nearing super mortal lock status for Best Picture (see "The Return of the King"). But is it too violent? What's the most violent film ever to win Best Picture? "Platoon," "The Godfather," "The Godfather Part II," "Braveheart," "Gladiator"?
The writers and cinematographers still have to weigh in.
