In just one week the Oscars, once considered to be in question, will happen. Over at Oscar.com you can play all sorts of games, watch video or just stare at the countdown clock. 7 days, 6 hours 56 minutes and 24 second at this typing. The telecast is live on ABC. The ceremony starts at 7:00 CST, but you can watch all the red carpet fun before then on the TV Guide Channel and E!.

As usual, I'll be live blogging during the ceremony. I'm expecting a few surprises, and I will release my predictions Friday morning.

My alternative Oscars will be posted this afternoon.
