Basketball Hogs add a shooter - finally!

Patrick Beverly, a high school phenom who according to his coach shot 55 percent from beyond the 3-point line during his completed senior season for Chicago Marshall High School, has signed with the Razorbacks, giving Stan Heath and the Hogs that much-needed outside bomber.

Beverly is a 6-2, 175-pound guard who averaged close to 35 points per game. Read more about Beverly's choice of the Hogs on this free Hog message board, or check out Clay Henry's Hawgs Illustrated.

Better still, it's fun to read the story from the other side -- in this case, that's Michigan, which thought it had Beverley locked up after his visit to Ann Arbor a couple of weeks ago. It's a free site, and hit "more" for the complete Michigan lament.

By the way, in case you're needing to make plans now, next year's Final Four is in Atlanta.
