Houston Nutt's in town Tuesday

Houston Nutt will be the guest of the Little Rock Touchdown Club on Tueday beginning at 11:15 p.m. at Keith Jackson's P.A.R.K. on Geyer Springs Road. Lunch is served from 11:15 to noon, and the speaking portion of the program runs an hour. What do you want to be there's no time for a question and answer sesssion?

Admission is $15 for club members and $20 for nonmembers. The club returns to regular weekly meetings in August.

The old Safeway store at the corner of 12th and Cedar Streets doesn't look like much these days - a peeling blue hulk of a building, marooned between the Willie Hinton Community Resource Center and the church on the next corner. /more/
