'Da Vinci Code': Critics may pan it, but audiences swarm it

All "The Da Vinci Code" needs now is for the pope to decry that "if you go see dis film, you vil go to hell." While a lot of film critics may say it sucks (Phil Martin amazingly bought in a little and gave it a B-minus in the local daily rag), folks the world, despite having to cross police lines or having to temporarily disavow their faith, are flocking to theaters and making Ron Howard and Tom Hanks even more richer.
