No Chicks?

We thought Little Rock (or, of course, more specifically North Little Rock and Alltel Arena) was a natural stopping-over spot for the Dixie Chicks tour, since the girls have drawn incredible turnouts both times in the 21st century at Alltel. But the Chicks management released a tour schedule that doesn't show Arkansas on the list. There are tour stops in Dallas and Memphis for September, but nothing for here.

We called Michael Marion, who said that he was told by the Chicks management that there is still some shuffing around going on and we could still end up with a date. You know they're trying from this end. It's just disappointing, particularly in light of previous turnouts here and with the way Memphis HAS NOT support concerts of late, that Little Rock/North Little Rock wouldn't be a given on that tour.
