Check out this music video

Click right here. It's from Sean Rock's new album, "Somewhere From Now," and it was put together (the works, from filming it to getting it on youtube) by the Times' own Roland Gladden, who in his "spare" time is a bassist extraordinaire. Most of the video was shot from a rained-out Riverfest give for Rock's band last year, as well as a recent appearance on the deck at Cajun's Wharf. Look for special guest appearances from Bart Angel ("Amy Garland Band," "Salty Dogs") and The Odds, and that girl playing the fiddle with Rock's band is the Times' receptionist, Crystal Wallis.

Wow!

Is that Amy Garland on backup vocals?

That's pretty good. And the really shocking thing is the guy is the sports editor of the Malvern Daily Record, quite possibly the worst daily newspaper in Ark.

That is Amy Garland. I've heard this album and she's on other tracks too. Very good record! Check her out on Kennedy.

Saw Sean's band at Whitewater Tavern last Thursday. They're calling themselves Sean Rock and the Toltecs. I Love it! Excellent show! Their new viola player reminds me of 10,000 Maniacs.

Rock on Roland, God loves a fighter.
