Gettin' Out: A diametric Thursday

AmyB's Thursday report:

There’s a couple of things choice live acts to check out tonight, though diametrically opposed, musically speaking. Simply put:

Socialburn performs tonight at Juanita’s. Major label hard rock: www.myspace.com/socialburn. “Beauty of Letting Go,” is their latest album.
Black Stone Cherry, getting ready to tour with Saliva, will open at 9 p.m. $7.

Outlaw country as opposed to Nashville glitz: Randy Rogers is tonight at Sticky Fingerz, with opener Shy Blakeman. 10 p.m. $8.

Elvis T. Busboy and the Blues Butchers (photo upper right) start day No. 1 of 2 at Cajun’s Wharf tonight. 8 p.m.; $5.

Taking it Easy? Nu Cuisine Lounge has Jazz and Blues Night tonight on the patio with an act to be announced. 9-midnight. $5.

My suggestion for non-bar flies: Billy Jones Show and Revue tonight at the Laman Library plaza. It's at 2801 Orange St. in North Little Rock. He’ll start playing on the plaza at 6:30 p.m. It’s free, bring the kids. Free sno-cones and hot dogs…

Is it already Thursday? Time flies ... blah, blah, blah.
