The Mind of Matt: Movies, free movies, and more

MOVIES

You want some FREE movie tickets and T-shirts? Call THE BUZZ 103.7FM today between 11:00 a.m. and  1:00 p.m.  I will be on with Nate Dog, Freaky Franklin and Acri. Call in to win! Axe some questions! 501-433-1037. DA BUZZ!

So, I get back from the lake Wednesday night and find out from Jim’s blog
that the sky is falling AGAIN at Hot Springs Documentary Film Institute!  Hmmmm?   Melanie Masino was great!  They should have done what ever it took to keep her on the team.  This thing should be about FILMS not the gala event, not the party, not the tux…… films and the people that make them!

They need Bob Pest from the Ozark Foothills Film Fest.  The man is a genius.  Get him!  Make the call!  He can put on his cape and save you. Bob is the best person for the job.

I got to go with David and Blake on “Lady in the Water”.  It is lame and wet. You know, KISS did make “The Elder” then they had to return to projects that sold.

"On the WILD SIDE" -- Matt

Matt Smith blogs at Little Rocking regularly on movies (he owns Market Street Cinema and other theaters in central Arkansas) and rock music.

Comments

"A World Without Heroes" was a pretty good song. Lou Reed probably enjoys his share of the royalties. And, hey, Cher covered it. No, I don't have a point with this; you just don't see a reference to Kiss' "The Elder" album everyday; when you do, you're compelled to say something.
