Seinfeld returning to Little Rock on Sept. 7

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is scheduled to appear at Robinson Center Music Hall on Sept. 7, we've just learned via Celebrity Attractions.

Seinfield, who starred in his eponymously named NBC series for eight years, was recently dubbed “the master stand-up comic of his generation” and “the best comedian of our time” in a Washington Post article by Tom Shales. By now, most of us know that Seinfeld can find the funniest things to say about everyday life, or even nothing, as was often said about his show: "A show about nothing." I know I still laugh my rear off at seasons 1-3 thanks to the DVD box I got for Christmas two years ago.

Anyway, showtime on that Thursday night will be 7 p.m., and tickets are priced at $77, $62 and $47. Tickets go on sale Monday, Aug. 14, at 10 a.m. through all Ticketmaster outlets (Harvest Foods stores and Celebrity Attractions on Third and Spring Streets, 975-7575 or www.ticketmaster.com).
