Tickets are on sale for Celebrity Attractions' "The Rock and the Rabbi"
Celebrity Attractions will kick off its new season with "The Rock and the Rabbi," a Christian musical, opening Sept. 11 at Robinson Center Music Hall. The show, which has drawn rave reviews in New York, Orlando and Tulsa, is produced by Larry Payton and his wife, who own Celebrity Attractions in Little Rock and Tulsa as well as Amarillo and Springfield, Mo.
The contemporary musical follows a simple fisherman, Simon, who becomes Peter "the Rock" and walks with the Rabbi (Jesus) from the Sea of Gallilee to Jerusalem.
Tickets went on sale Friday at Celebrity Attractions' office at Third and Spring streets (244-8800) and through Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com, 975-7575). Prices range from $12 to $32 for the evening shows at 7:30 p.m. each day, and $22 for all seasts at the 1:30 p.m. Thursday matinee.
The Celebrity Attractions season will also include "Hairspray," "I Can't Stop Loving You -- The genius of Ray Charles" and "The Producers." Tickets for the season are available at Celebrity Attractions.
