Blue Man coming back in 2007?

Pollstar, the website covering concert news and show dates, reports today that Blue Man Group is returning to Alltel Arena on Feb. 18, 2007. As with all dates that show up early on Pollstar, Alltel is acknowledging nothing being confirmed until the contract is signed, but it's a good sign that it also shows up on Blue Man's tour list for 2007.

The last visit by Blue Man two years ago drew a terrific turnout to the arena's smaller theater setup, and it was a great show. Beats having to travel to Vegas or to the theater Off-Broadway to see these ingenious sorts, who make sounds and music out of anything.

Speaking of Pollstar and the uncertainty of dates, the website lists Alan Jackson as performing here Nov. 10. It's been up there several weeks in fact. But, the fact is, Jackson ain't playing that date here. He may be here in early 2007, but that's one Pollstar listing you can ignore.
