Emmitt or Mario? It had better be Emmitt

If you are spammed to death like I am daily, you've probably gotten these "Dancing With the Stars" deals about tonight's big showdown between Mario whatshisname from "Saved by the Bell" and former NFL running back great Emmitt Smith, with the subject line "Mario or Emmitt." A lot like the millions of "Coke vs. Pepsi" emails I've also received.

Emmitt deserves the trophy just for getting this far, although we always knew he could dance through NFL defenses with ease when the Cowboys were winning three Super Bowls. Mario's just a pretty boy dancer. He couldn't last two plays in the NFL.

Go Emmitt.

Comments

Please stop this maddness, people, quit fueling this ridiculousness. Will they put his disco ball trophy in the hall of fame?

EDITOR: Right up there next to his Super Bowl trophies.

As Judge Wendell Griffen says, courage is not a vice (though critics seem to fault him for having it) but a virtue. /more/
